DriveHRIS is hiring a certified HR Advisor for Western Canada to support our automotive partners. The candidate will need to live in Manitoba, Alberta, or British Columbia.

This position will be responsible for providing advisory services to the Automotive Industry, supporting the Advisory team on initiatives, and ensuring an incredible customer experience.

If you have the following requirements, we want to hear from you:

  • Full CPHR designation
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience dealing with complex Employee Relations issues, Interpreting Legislation, and providing generalist HR services is essential
  • Multi-provincial experience is preferred
  • A customer-first attitude and a willingness to work with both internal and external customers
  • The ideal candidate thrives in working independently with minimal supervision
  • Must have a proven track record providing clear and exceptional written and verbal communication and organization at all levels of the company. This includes the creation of compliance documentation
  • Knowledge and experience in the automotive industry preferred
  • Excellent presentation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills combined with a high level of ability to work independently
  • In-depth knowledge of HRIS systems and demonstrated proficiency in the use of the full Microsoft 360 suite
  • Enthusiasm for, and ability to, attend in-person events and client visits are required

As the HR Advisor you will:

  • Report to the Sr. Manager, Professional Services
  • Provide Advisory services to the Automotive Industry on all aspects of Human Resources, including Health and Safety through written communication, virtual meetings, webinars, and standardized documentation
  • Generate professional correspondence and documentation
  • Work with the Professional Services team on content creation and presentation material
  • Be required to solve complex legislative compliance and employee relations challenges
  • Participate, as required, in presentations, outreach, and multi-media initiatives
  • Participate, as required, in strategic initiatives and internal content and HR development
  • Stay informed of HR trends and best practices, legislative updates, industry news, and challenges, including maintaining ongoing PD to maintain your designation
  • Assist clients with recruitment and actively participate in the candidate experience

This is a permanent, full-time remote position that requires a high level of self-motivation, an aptitude for self-directed learning and initiative and the willingness to meet or exceed tight deadlines and shifting priorities. A dedicated workspace that is free from distraction is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $58,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
